”On the seventh day he will examine the sore again. If it has not spread and appears to be no more than skin-deep, the priest will pronounce the person ceremonially clean. The person’s clothing must be washed, and the person will be ceremonially clean.“

It is common not to achieve the desired outcome on the first try. However, persistence is vital, and if we continue to strive toward our goals, we might eventually attain them. Remember that it was not the first day that Moses appeared before Pharaoh to demand the release of the people of Israel that it happened.
As followers of Christ, we have faith that God hears and answers our prayers, but we must persevere and trust in His timing and plan for our lives. The scripture reminds us that the fervent prayer of a righteous person has great power and can accomplish much.
If you are still in ‘quarantine’ while others have come and gone, please do not be discouraged. Your time will come, and you will be celebrated. The fact that you are still there does not mean the situation will get worse. All you need to do is never give up. Keep pushing forward and trust that God has a plan for you.
Perhaps you cannot wait for the new year to come because you want to forget the challenges in the current year as soon as possible. While understandable, I encourage you to approach the new year with grace and a positive attitude. Believe that what you desire will align with God’s plan for your life, and trust that He will guide you through the coming year. Always remember that with God, all things are possible.
