Leviticus 13:32-33 NLT
”On the seventh day the priest must examine the sore again. If he finds that the scabby sore has not spread, and there is no yellow hair on it, and it appears to be only skin-deep, the person must shave off all hair except the hair on the affected area. Then the priest must quarantine the person for another seven days.“
Another seven days
As followers of Christ, we must ensure that every life under our care is treated with utmost respect. We must be willing to go the extra mile to help others as long as it is within our ability. We mustn’t hastily come to any conclusions. Instead, we must conduct our due diligence by gathering all the necessary facts before making any decisions.
In today’s referenced scripture, the Lord instructed the priest to quarantine the affected person for another seven days. This indicates that God did not want the priest to lose hope. Therefore, we mustn’t give up on our circumstances either because God has not given up on us. He will not abandon us unless we give up on ourselves.
Let us, therefore, keep our faith and hope alive, knowing that God is always with us, guiding us through each step of our journey. May we be patient in our trials and trust that everything will work together for our good.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I have several unbecoming situations. Please help me not to give up on them, and I beseech Thee to turn them around for the glory of Your name. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
