Leviticus 13:18-19 NLT
”If anyone has a boil on the skin that has started to heal, but a white swelling or a reddish white spot develops in its place, that person must go to the priest to be examined.“
‭‭
It’s your responsibility
God always equips those whom He calls to serve. In the Old Testament, God provided for the daily needs of the priests. He gave them sufficient allotment, and by doing so, the priests could devote more time and energy to their duties and not have to worry about farming the land. In addition, God never withheld His presence from them, meaning He revealed everything to them.

Unfortunately, many associate a priest’s ability to reveal their inner issues with God’s presence. However, we should not reduce God’s presence to such. In today’s scripture, the Lord instructed that if anyone had “a boil on the skin that has started to heal, but a white swelling or a reddish-white spot develops in its place,” they must approach the priest for examination. The Lord did not say that the priest would foretell it. Instead, the Lord instructed that the affected person must step forward to be examined.

Therefore, if you’re going through something unpalatable, step forward and before you table before any priest endeavours to table it before the High Priest. The scripture says we have a High Priest who can sympathize with our concerns (Hebrews 4:15). No pastor has the anointing to detect all issues. If God does not reveal, they dare not declare. It is your responsibility to seek help and support, and God will always be present to guide you through your struggles.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I bring to You all issues making my life stressful. Please give me Your rest over all of them. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
