Leviticus 13:1 NLT
“The Lord said to Moses and Aaron,”
‭‭
Why Moses and Aaron?
Have you ever wondered why some people seem to have a direct line to God while others do not? It can be tempting to think that God randomly chooses who to speak with, but the truth is that He desires to communicate with all of us. However, we often choose not to listen.

Is it possible for a person to refuse to hear from God? Yes, but not in the way we might imagine. Our level of holiness plays a crucial role in our ability to hear from God. According to scripture, without holiness, no one can see God. Therefore, we must live holy lives to hear God’s voice.

Moses and Aaron are excellent examples of individuals who lived holy lives and enjoyed frequent communication with God. They were not perfect, but they took holiness seriously and consistently pursued it. As a result, God spoke to them often and revealed His will through them.

Living a holy life is not easy, but it is possible. It requires discipline, sacrifice, and a willingness to surrender our desires to God’s will. We must prioritize our relationship with God over everything else and make it our goal to live in a way that honours Him. When we do this, we position ourselves to hear from God and be used by Him to accomplish great things.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me always be holy through the power of the Holy Ghost. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
