“The Lord said to Moses and Aaron,”
Always be ready to hear from the Lord
In the postsecondary environment, students are often given pop quizzes – unannounced assessments that require them to be always prepared. Similarly, as Christians, we are expected always to have a readiness mindset. We should always be ready to listen to God’s voice and assimilate His instructions, just as Moses and Aaron did, as described in the Bible.
It is important to note that God is always present and ready to communicate with us, but we must be available and receptive to His voice. We should cultivate a habit of actively seeking His guidance and listening to what He says. In doing so, we can be sure to receive His blessings and avoid any negative consequences that may result from not being attentive to His instructions.
It is worth mentioning that the previous verse did not indicate a significant interjection in the referenced scripture. This highlights the importance of being always ready and receptive to the Lord’s voice, as we never know when He may have a message for us.
As Christians, we should always strive to be prepared and attentive to God’s voice, just as Moses and Aaron were. In doing so, we can be assured of His guidance and blessings in our lives.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that I will not be encumbered by anything such that hearing from You is difficult, but always make myself ready to hear from You. In Jesus’s name, amen.
