Leviticus 11:4 NLT
“You may not, however, eat the following animals that have split hooves or that chew the cud, but not both. The camel chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is ceremonially unclean for you.”
The Creator of the universe
God’s love for the people of Israel was unmatched, as demonstrated by His involvement in every aspect of their lives. He instructed Moses on which types of animal meat were acceptable to eat but did not mandate anything, allowing the people to choose freely. It is essential to remember that God loves and cares for every detail of your life. Therefore, when He advises against specific actions, do not try to negotiate or sidestep His guidance, as His precepts provide valuable insights for living.
In addition, today’s referenced Scripture reminds us that God created the universe and everything within it. If He had not created everything and all that dwells in it, He wouldn’t have known what camels have and do not have. It is worth remembering that there was no Google or other search engines at that time. Hence, there was no outside help. It is important to remember that God created you and knows everything about you, including your strengths and weaknesses. Do not hesitate to bring any concerns you may have about your life to Him at any time. He is always there to listen, guide, and support you.
Prayer
Dear God, as the Creator of the universe, You are aware of every component and its deficiencies. I pray that You will remove every inadequacy in my life that does not glorify Your name. I ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen.
