Leviticus 10:3 NLT
“Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when he said, ‘I will display my holiness through those who come near me. I will display my glory before all the people.’” And Aaron was silent.”
‭‭
Was Moses heartless?
It is normal to sympathize with someone who has lost a loved one; even the Bible encourages this. However, it is surprising that Moses didn’t offer condolences when Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, passed away. If it were today that such a conversation occurred, people would criticize Moses for not showing any emotions. But was Moses heartless? There is no evidence to suggest that he was. It’s worth noting that Moses didn’t pass any judgment on Nadab, Abihu, or Aaron’s parenting style. Instead, he reminded Aaron that the incident occurred because Nadab and Abihu approached the Lord without acknowledging His holiness. Friends, remember never to abuse God’s holiness in our actions, whether obvious or subtle, no matter how anointed we may be.

Prayer
Dear God, I pray that I will never under any guise treat as if You are not holy. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
