Leviticus 9:2 NLT
“He said to Aaron, “Take a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without defects, and present them to the Lord.”
Moses was on hand
When we attain our objectives, we must consider our demeanour towards those around us. Do we retain a modest and open attitude, willing to accept guidance and support from others? These are significant questions for self-reflection. In today’s scripture, we see a prime example of this in Aaron’s behaviour towards Moses, despite being ordained himself. Aaron did not let his newfound position get to his head. He did not sever ties with Moses or reject his instructions. Instead, he remained eager to learn from Moses, indicating a willingness to grow and improve. Moses, on his part, was more than happy to guide and support Aaron, recognizing the importance of ensuring his success in his role. As believers in Christ, it is incumbent upon us to help others grow and thrive. Neglecting this responsibility is unacceptable, as it does not hinder our personal growth. In fact, helping others succeed can be mutually beneficial for all parties involved.
Prayer
Dear God, please guide me to share Your teachings with others without hesitation. May I always remain humble and open to receiving guidance from the Holy Spirit, no matter what position of authority I may hold through Your grace. I pray in Jesus’s name. Amen.
