Leviticus 8:13 NLT
“Next Moses presented Aaron’s sons. He clothed them in their tunics, tied their sashes around them, and put their special head coverings on them, just as the Lord had commanded him.”
Don’t be in a rush
Pleasing God is a pursuit that is guided by His divine instructions. To achieve this, we must adhere to these instructions as closely as possible. It is important to note that the speed at which we carry out tasks is not the only measure of efficiency in God’s work. Instead, our ability to follow His instructions is what truly matters. The example of Moses dressing Aaron and his sons clearly illustrates this principle. Although it would have been quicker to dress Aaron and his sons simultaneously, Moses chose to follow God’s instruction by dressing Aaron first. Even though Aaron’s sons were capable of dressing themselves, Moses displayed servant leadership by putting Aaron’s needs first. This is a testament to the fact that God values us in serving all people, regardless of their age or social status. Friends, let us avail ourselves to all brethren and never hold back on any divinely assigned responsibilities.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me always be meticulous in any divine assignment. In Jesus’s name, amen.
