“Then the Lord said to Moses,”
One-on-one conversation
Today’s scripture highlights the personal conversation between Moses and the Lord, indicating the strength of their relationship. It’s a reminder for us to reflect on our own bond with God. If we feel distant from Him, it might be because we have drifted away, not because He has moved away from us. God entrusted Moses to accurately convey His instructions without any external assistance, emphasizing the level of trust built between them. This raises the question of whether we, too, can cultivate a relationship with God that is built on trust and dependability.
Prayer
Dear God, I pray that I may always keep You in mind and draw closer to You in everything I do. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
