Leviticus 4:33 NLT
“They must lay a hand on the head of the sin offering and slaughter it at the place where burnt offerings are slaughtered.”
Same condition
If an offender offered a sheep, the Lord instructed them to lay a hand on the animal. By laying a hand on the animal, all of the offender’s guilt was transferred to the animal. Notice that slaughtering must happen afterward. The lesson is that the wage of any sin is death. Imagine that Jesus had not died for our sins; we would have been required to designate animals to pass in our places. Given that there are several animal rights today, these animal sacrifices would have been impossible in the West, meaning people living there would be deprived of such rites. Thanks to Jesus for agreeing to die in our place, and we don’t have to offend anyone while amending our faults with God.

I will always be grateful to You, Almighty Father, for the death of Jesus Christ. Blessed be Your holy name. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
