Leviticus 4:20 NLT
“Just as he does with the bull offered as a sin offering for the high priest. Through this process, the priest will purify the people, making them right with the Lord, and they will be forgiven.”
‭‭
No variation
It is not uncommon for humans to favour those in their social network and leave out anyone outside their network with little or no chance. In today’s referenced scripture, God instructed Moses that the priest involved in the atonement process must not give room for variability in the attention given to the sin offering of the people vis-à-vis that of the high priest. The reason is that if anything went awry, the atonement would become null and void. With the instruction, God indicated that whether or not people’s sin offering received His favour depended on the priest’s disposition. Friends, let us not hold back whatever is in our capacity that could help anyone mend fences with El-Shaddai. Like the priest desired that God forgive the high priest for ignorant sin, so was it essential he did the same for the people. Truth be told, no human can fulfil the condition, which was why the Only Begotten Son had to come to do it for us.

Prayer
Merciful King, please open my eyes so that I will love all the same and ensure no variation in the discharge of my service to You and others. These I ask in Jesus’s name, amen.
