Leviticus 1:1 NLT
“The Lord called to Moses from the Tabernacle and said to him,”
God’s called
In Exodus 40:35, the scripture states that Moses did not enter the Tabernacle when the glory of God filled it. He was right not to have entered it because no man has what it takes to stand before the Holy One of Israel. Even at that, Moses did not capitalize on his inability to access the Tabernacle as an excuse to leave the environs. Instead, he stayed close to it because he probably looked forward to hearing from God. He could do such because all that God instructed him was attended to wholeheartedly. Friends, whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. The fact that God called Moses from the Tabernacle was symbolic and showed that God loved the output and wanted to talk. Notice that God had the choice of calling from the cloud or heaven but chose to call from the Tabernacle. Our bodies are God’s Temple; therefore, let’s make them ready for Him to occupy at all times.
Prayer
Faithful Father, help me to live a faithful life and please make my body Your temple. In Jesus’s name, amen.
