Exodus 40:20 NLT
“He took the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant and placed them inside the Ark. Then he attached the carrying poles to the Ark, and he set the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—on top of it.”
Let God’s instructions dominate
Have you thought about where the stone tablets with the covenant terms were kept while Bezalel and Oholiab worked on the items for the Tabernacle project? The scripture didn’t provide the information; however, Moses must have kept them very well. When everything was set, he brought them out and placed them where God wanted them. The scripture says Moses put them inside the Ark. Moses didn’t turn these stone tablets into personal items. In addition, Moses didn’t object to God’s plan for the Ark of the Covenant. What do I mean? Without attaching the carrying pole to the Ark, the people of Israel would not be able to move the Ark whenever they were instructed. Friends, let’s work with God and allow every instruction to permeate our lives.

Everlasting King, please let Your instructions dominate my life. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
