Exodus 40:18 NLT
“Moses erected the Tabernacle by setting down its bases, inserting the frames, attaching the crossbars, and setting up the posts.”
No outsourcing
In the corporate world, businesses sometimes engage in outsourcing their activities. They tend to do it to meet deadlines. Regarding the Tabernacle project, the option was equally available, but Moses chose to pass it. The reason wasn’t that there were no capable hands but because God didn’t ask for anyone other than Moses to do it. Moses set the base, inserted the frames, attached the crossbars, and set up the posts. Even though these tasks required different skillset, Moses did not fail in any of them because God was with him. The takeaway is this: Moses didn’t do it to show off or to suggest that he’s a lone ranger. His decision was influenced by one reason, which was to do God’s will. Friend, what happened to Moses indicates that God will also empower you to carry your tasks out effectively.
Prayer
King of glory, I do not have any power of my own. Please, endow me with the strength, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to carry out every divine task wholeheartedly without any gap. In Jesus name. Amen.
