Exodus 39:43 NLT
“Then Moses inspected all their work. When he found it had been done just as the Lord had commanded him, he blessed them.”
Thorough inspection
Outsourcing is not a bad idea, but not all activities can be or should be outsourced. No one knows how busy Moses was, yet, he gave time to attend to what mattered to God. When he conducted the inspection, he didn’t inspect a representative sample; instead, he examined everything. For each item studied, Moses placed the finished work side by side with God’s instructions. He found that each matched God’s instructions. After that, the scripture says that Moses blessed them. He didn’t give them money or precious metals or honored positions, but they all received something that money could not buy – he blessed them in the name of the Lord! If Moses could be delighted with the work of the men assigned to the project, imagine how God would have felt. If Moses could bless them for a job well rendered, imagine the kind of blessings God would have pronounced on their lives. Brethren, everything and anything we do in God’s presence must not be because of earthly but eternal benefits.
Prayer
Merciful Father, please help me so that whatever I do will be for eternity’s benefit. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
