Exodus 39:40 NLT
“the curtains for the walls of the courtyard; the posts and their bases; the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard; the ropes and tent pegs; all the furnishings to be used in worship at the Tabernacle;”
To be used in worship
There is no doubt that no amount of inspection can imbue quality into any product. The fact that Moses had no concern regarding any of the items presented by the artisans indicated that the artisans were meticulous in their delivery. They did not just bring the bigger task but everything. Today’s referenced scripture reveals that the curtains were submitted for inspection and censure. The artisans couldn’t have done so if not that they had no cause to worry. Their behavior was not different from the servants whom the master gave five and three talents and had joyfully multiplied them and reported their accomplishments. In like manner, the artisans were happy about their deliveries. Lastly, Moses acknowledged that the artisans did not leave anything needed behind. They brought all that was required for the worship at the Tabernacle. Friends, you don’t need any paraphernalia like the Israelites to worship God other than doing it in Spirit and Truth.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to work on both big and small tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and may my output never fall short of Your expectations. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
