Exodus 39:27 NLT
“They made tunics for Aaron and his sons from fine linen cloth.”
For Aaron and his sons
For a project as massive as Tabernacle, which did not have any project management tools to track its activities, one might have some concerns about unwanted activities getting stuffed into the main tasks. Not only was anything done undesirably, but neither Bezalel nor any artisans abandoned or left out any planned activity. Compared with other tasks in the Tabernacle project, the making of the tunic was probably on the lower rung. Yet the artisans never considered it as such, which was why it got all the attention. The tunic was not made with any fabric but with the best. Lastly, the tunic was for Aaron and his sons only! Even Moses had none. And guess what? It didn’t change his relationship with God. Friends, what defines your relationship with God? Is it a garment, position, title, or Christ?
Prayer
My Father and my God, help me to build up my relationship with You with sincerity of heart and without attaching anything ephemeral. In Jesus’s name, amen.
