Exodus 39:8 NLT
“Bezalel made the chestpiece with great skill and care. He made it to match the ephod, using finely woven linen embroidered with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread.”

Great skill and care
In the West, companies strive to manufacture products and deliver services with great care. Failure to do so puts such companies on a collision course with the public. Without mincing words, the penchant for producing and delivering the best for the public isn’t intrinsic but to avoid stricter government regulations, fines, penalties, class actions, and even litigations. Having said that, how many people produce or make with great skill and care to please God? We may not know many, but Bezalel stood out. Today’s referenced scripture noted that he ensured that the chestpiece was made with great skill and care, just as the Lord wanted it (Exodus 28: 15). Bezalel didn’t turn right or left but stayed on course. Even if the scripture does not reveal how God felt about Bezalel’s attention to detail regarding the making of the chestpiece, the fact that Moses took time to report it leaves little or no doubt that God was pleased with his delivery. Interestingly, thousands of years after Moses had completed the Tabernacle’s project, we continue to read about Bezalel’s approach to the work assigned to him. Friends, your disposition to God’s assignment is not erasable. They are like files stored in the cloud. Friends, are your dispositions toward divine assignment worth imitating?

Prayer
My Father and my God, please let my work declare Your glory to others. In Jesus’s name, amen.
