Exodus 39:24-25 NLT
“They made pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and attached them to the hem of the robe. They also made bells of pure gold and placed them between the pomegranates along the hem of the robe,”

Synergy
It takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. In other words, a person’s negative behavior is enough to change the dynamics of a group or, better still, to engage in the same bad behavior. In his letter to the church in Galatia, Saul, also known as Paul, told the brethren that a bit of leaven leaves the whole lump of dough (Galatians 5:9). Just as one bad behavior can affect the pack, a little good work has a cascading effect. Regarding the exercise reported in today’s referenced scripture, there is no report that the artisans participated equally, meaning they participated according to their abilities. Asides from that, none of them brought the wrong vibe into the construction site. If it had been, they would have jeopardized both the delivery and quality of the task. They worked together, and the English adage that says too many cooks spoil the broth did not come to pass with them. The possible reason was that each knew their capability and never considered the exercise an opportunity for showmanship.

Prayer
My Father and my God, help me always to work to please You and not myself. In Jesus’s name, amen.
