Exodus 39:2 NLT
“Bezalel made the ephod of finely woven linen and embroidered it with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread.”
‭‭
Finely woven linen
When working on an assignment or delivering a service, everyone has a choice on how to do it. One could do it conscientiously or in a wishy-washy manner. Regarding the making of the ephod, Moses noted that Bezalel used finely woven linen. In other words, Bezalel had options but chose to use the best materials available. Likewise, there were different threads that Bezalel could use for the embroidery; however, he chose and used the types that God specified. The use of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread was symbolic. Gold represents God’s love which is more precious than gold. The colour blue represents Heaven. The colour purple represents royalty or kingship. Scarlet points to the blood of Jesus, the Son of the Living God.

Prayer
My Father and my God, please help me to commit myself to Your service. In Jesus’s name, amen.
